A Night at KLUB KATSEYE

On Tuesday, more than 400 New York City-based KATSEYE fans—aka EYEKONS—packed Brooklyn’s Elsewhere for a special listening event celebrating their upcoming EP, WILD. For one night only, the venue was transformed into KLUB KATSEYE, an immersive takeover complete with hands-on experiences and, of course, a special performance from the group themselves.

KATSEYE officially ushered in their new era with live performances of “PINKY UP,” “Animal,” and the live debut of “That Way,” before bringing the house down with fan favorites “Gnarly” and “Gabriela,” which had the entire room singing along.

Before the show, we caught up with KATSEYE to talk about the music that inspired WILD. Tracks that topped the list included “Feel It Still” by Portugal. The Man, “Never Be the Same” by Camila Cabello, and “Don’t Cha” by The Pussycat Dolls. They also revealed that “I’m a Slave 4 U” by Britney Spears heavily influenced their soon-to-be-released music video for “Hootie Frutti.”

When asked which song from the EP best captures their next chapter, the group was quick to point to “That Way,” which reflects their evolution as artists as they step into this new era. You can check out the rest of our chat with them here:
