Spotify and FC Barcelona Collab With Travis Scott on a Special Cactus Jack Shirt and Exclusive Concert

Since 2022, Spotify and FC Barcelona have brought the worlds of music and football together with a first-of-its-kind partnership. Now, the two iconic brands are tapping into the world of Travis Scott as they team up yet again for their latest jersey takeover.

During their El Clásico showdown on May 11, the FC Barcelona men’s squad will step onto the pitch wearing a version of the iconic blaugrana jersey featuring the Cactus Jack logo. In addition, the FC Barcelona Feminí will be wearing the jersey during their season finale on May 18.

Created in partnership with one of the most influential artists of our generation, this special-edition Travis Scott drop bridges music, fashion, and football, reflecting the depth of Spotify’s commitment to artists and fans.

In the lead-up to El Clásico, Spotify is also bringing Travis Scott to Barcelona on May 10 for an exclusive concert. Curated to honor Travis’s most loyal Spotify listeners, this marks the very first time the rap superstar will perform in the Catalan capital. Featuring fan-led moments and immersive activations from start to finish, this one-off event is designed to reflect the passion of the fans and the unmistakable energy that Travis brings to this partnership.

“El Clásico is a moment the whole world taps into. Teaming up with Spotify and FC Barcelona lets me merge my universe with theirs,” said Travis. “This wasn’t just about throwing Cactus Jack on a jersey. It’s about building something that blurs the line between sound and sport. Being the first artist to perform in Barcelona as part of this collaboration and sharing that moment with my fans just takes it to another level.”

One of the most-streamed artists on Spotify, Travis has more than 67 million monthly listeners, as well as five songs that have entered our Billions Club: “goosebumps,” “SICKO MODE,” “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM,” “BUTTERFLY EFFECT,” and “FE!N.”

Following Coldplay, KAROL G, The Rolling Stones, ROSALÍA, and Drake as the latest artist to be featured on the iconic FC Barcelona jersey, Travis’s list of achievements grows even bigger.

“What we’re doing here is giving artists a stage unlike any other. This collaboration with Travis Scott, alongside FC Barcelona, is our most ambitious project to date,” said Marc Hazan, Vice President, Partnerships and Marketing at Spotify. “A global icon cocurating with us for the world’s biggest game and performing live for fans in Barcelona—that’s the power we’re unlocking. It’s a real expression of what drives Spotify and FC Barcelona.”

But it’s not just the players who will be wearing this buzzworthy shirt. Inspired by the club’s founding year, there are 1899 limited-edition jerseys available to purchase via the Barça Official Stores in Spain and online.

“The logo swap for El Clásico is the clearest example of how the alliance between Spotify and FC Barcelona is capable of generating conversations that go beyond the world of sports,” said FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta. “It reflects the club’s desire to interact with our fans in a novel way and brings us closer to new audiences around the world, allowing us to share who we are and what we stand for. In this Clásico, which could be decisive for the season, we welcome a global figure like Travis Scott to the family of artists who have had their names featured on our jersey in one of the most important sporting events on the planet.”

FC Barcelona goes beyond the pitch with the Cactus Jack Collection

In addition to the Cactus Jack shirt, Spotify and FC Barcelona have also cocreated a limited-edition capsule collection with Travis Scott that brings his creative universe to life. Designed to live beyond the pitch, the Cactus Jack collection includes two unique hoodies, a T-shirt, retro jersey, cap, shorts, jacket, scarf, and a retro football that channel the energy of El Clásico.

Rooted in Travis’s signature aesthetic, the collection is already earning rave reviews from FC Barcelona stars like Jules Kounde.

“As a long-time Travis listener and someone who cares about style, this collaboration with Spotify is powerful,” Jules said. “Seeing the Cactus Jack logo on our jersey and being part of a drop that blends football with fashion and music is something that I’m hugely inspired by, and I’m proud to be part of a club that embraces that.”

Fans who want to get their hands on the Cactus Jack collection can purchase these pieces from TravisScott.com starting May 9.

This collaboration is just the latest example of Spotify and FC Barcelona bringing the worlds of music and football together through preseason tours, artist takeovers, player collaborations, and more.
