The annual Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France is where creators, brands, and fans collide to celebrate the world’s most innovative ideas in marketing. This year, Spotify is back to welcome guests with an incredible lineup of experiences and conversations designed to bring fandom to life.
“Cannes Lions is the biggest moment in the year for the advertising industry to come together in the same place, at the same time, to celebrate creativity,” said Bridget Evans, Global Head of Business Marketing, Spotify. “For us, it has always been an opportunity to show Spotify’s role in culture by hosting conversations with creators that matter to brands, curating evening events for people to experience fandom first-hand, and showing what it actually means to earn fans’ attention. We cannot wait to welcome everyone to Spotify Beach.”
From Monday, June 22 to Friday, June 26, Spotify Beach will be one of the hottest destinations on the Croisette. Fans come to Spotify with intent, actively discovering, sharing, and building identity around what they love. That energy is what we’ll be bringing to Cannes all week.
Throughout the day, we’ll be hosting sessions featuring influential voices across music, entertainment, fashion, and culture. And when the sun goes down, Spotify Beach will transform into a nighttime stage with performances by some of the world’s biggest artists.
Guests can also stop by for hands-on experiences that are all about personalization—because on Spotify, everything is shaped to your taste. At the Coffee Bar, guests can craft their ideal matcha with different flavors, foams, and toppings to choose from. Over at the Shape Your Taste Froyo Bar, they can customize their Spotify profile while building their perfect frozen yogurt treat. Guests can also share a little magic from Cannes with friends back home, with Prompt Your Playlist postcards.
Elsewhere on Spotify Beach, we’re transforming our meeting rooms into immersive takeovers celebrating cultural moments Spotify is helping shape— including our recent campaign, You’re Among Fans, featuring Lizzo and On Purpose host Jay Shetty, our 20th anniversary look, and Reserved.
