Fans Around the World Celebrate FC Barcelona’s El Clásico Victory With ROSALÍA Tracks

Over the last two weekends, both FC Barcelona and FC Barcelona Femení extended their respective title race leads with their El Clásico victories. The highly anticipated matches, hosted on the Spotify Camp Nou pitch, had extra star power thanks to the clubs’ special-edition ROSALÍA shirts.

ROSALÍA herself even earned a social media milestone, with her announcement post on Instagram becoming her most-liked of all time.

And fans were just getting started.

In the hour following the final whistle of the men’s match, global streams of ROSALÍA tracks climbed on Spotify:

FC Barcelona players celebrated the win by blasting ROSALÍA’sDespechá” in the locker room.

Artists and fans take to the field

In an additional tribute to ROSALÍA, artists and influencers from across Europe came together for a friendly game after El Clásico. FC Barcelona also held a competition on social media, and some lucky fans were able to join in on the fun. More than 40 attendees were separated into two teams: Team MOTOMAMI and Team BIZCOCHITO

Notable teammates included content creator and broadcast sports commentator Adri Contreras; football freestylers Lia Lewis, Ben Nuttall, and Jack Downer; creator and journalist Karol Paciorek; German actress and singer Lisa Küppers; actor Peter Vives; social media stars Nils Kuesel and Nic Kaufmann; and Swedish artists Ricky Rich, Jireel, Victor Leksell, and 1.Cuz. There was also a surprise guest appearance by FC Barcelona legend Luis Garcia, who played in the friendly match.
