Now, Spotify is available somewhere new: inside Claude. Starting today, Spotify users can connect their account to Claude for personalized recommendations based on their taste and listening history. The recommendations come from Spotify’s personalization technology and deep catalog expertise.
Ask for a podcast for your commute, a playlist from your favorite artist, or high-energy tracks for a morning gym session, right from your Claude conversation. Once you find something you like, you can preview or save it, play it in Claude, or open it in the Spotify app. Both Free and Premium listeners can use the integration, and Premium users can also describe a vibe or mood to get a playlist tailored to their prompt.
Claude also supports Spotify Connect, letting you see where Spotify is playing and switch or control your devices without leaving the conversation so you can move from your phone, laptop, or speaker without missing a beat.
You control whether Spotify is connected, and you can disconnect whenever you like. We’re committed to protecting artists and creators, and Spotify does not share any music, podcasts, or other audio or video content from our platform with Anthropic for training.
Spotify in Claude is available now globally, for Free, Pro, and Max Claude users on web, mobile (iOS and Android), and desktop. It gives listeners a new way to explore what they’re in the mood for, while giving artists and podcasters another way to reach them.
