Bruno Mars Makes Spotify History as the First Artist To Hit 150 Million Monthly Listeners

Bruno Mars has officially etched his name in the Spotify history books. On January 27, the global superstar became the first artist to reach 150 million monthly listeners on our platform. He’s currently the number-one artist on Spotify.

This achievement comes on the heels of a remarkable run for Mars in 2024. His collaboration with Lady Gaga, “Die With A Smile,” became the fastest song in Spotify history to hit 1 billion streams. And his duet with ROSÉ, “APT.,” also made it to Spotify’s Billions Club, giving Mars the impressive distinction of having the two tracks to reach this milestone the quickest. With a catalog brimming with hits like “Locked out of Heaven,” “That’s What I Like,” and “Just the Way You Are,” Mars boasts 17 songs that have surpassed a billion streams on Spotify.

And he’s showing no signs of slowing down. Just last Friday, Mars teamed up with rapper Sexyy Red for their new track, “Fat Juicy & Wet,” adding another exciting collaboration to his ever-growing list of hits.

With 150 million monthly listeners and a string of record-breaking achievements, the artist continues to prove his impact on the music world. Press play on our This Is Bruno Mars playlist to discover his greatest hits.
