Reserved by Spotify: New Ways to Get Ready for—and Relive—Your Show

Two shots of Reserved social share cards for the artist "John Summit"

Earlier this year, we introduced Reserved by Spotify, a new experience designed to give an artist’s most dedicated fans a better chance to see them live. Eligible Premium subscribers ages 18+ in the U.S. and Canada get a dedicated window to purchase up to two tour tickets held just for them before the general sale.

Starting today, we’re building on Reserved ticket access to support fans throughout their concert journey, from the moment you get your invite to long after the lights go down. We’re rolling out three new features: personalized share cards, setlist playlists, and a central in-app destination.

Share the excitement, from invite to purchase

Got the Reserved invite? Tell your friends. Got the tickets? That deserves a moment, too.

We’re introducing two personalized share cards to mark both occasions. The first becomes available when you’re selected for a Reserved offer, so you can share that you’ve got access to purchase tickets. After you snag your tickets, a second card lets everyone know you’re officially going.

Customized with your name, each card highlights the artist, show details, and Reserved badging—ready to share on social or drop in the group chat.

Explore setlists before and after your show

Setlists help you make the most of the music from a live show, whether you’re brushing up on lyrics beforehand or rediscovering a standout track after the performance.

Once you purchase your Reserved tickets, you’ll unlock a dedicated tour setlist playlist on your event page, sourced from setlist.fm. Before the show, explore what the artist has been playing on tour to get a sense of what you might hear.

Artists can always mix things up, so setlist playlists will also update after each show to track every tour debut and surprise song in real time. When the concert ends, your event page reflects the exact tracks played so you can keep the night on repeat.

Return to your event in the app

We’re introducing an enhanced in-app destination that brings all your Reserved content together. Accessible through Home and Your Library, it’s where you’ll find your share cards, pre-and post-show setlists, key event details, venue information, and past performances—giving you one place to return to as your concert approaches and long after the final encore.

The new suite of features starts rolling out today, and setlists will be available for participating artist tours as their show dates begin. This includes recent offers for artists such as ROLE MODEL, Miley, Skillet, beabadoobee, Jonas Brothers, Brett Eldredge, John Summit, Young Thug, and Metallica.

How to access Reserved

There’s no separate sign-up required for Reserved. If you’re selected, you’ll receive an offer by email, push notification, and in “Your Updates” (make sure to turn on notifications for live concerts and events and enable location settings for Spotify). Open it to explore eligible tour dates and check when your purchase window begins.

When your window opens, tap “Buy now” to link your Spotify and Ticketmaster accounts and complete your purchase on Ticketmaster. Two tickets are held until your window closes, though specific dates and seats are subject to availability.

How Reserved fits into Spotify’s concert features

Reserved is just the latest way Spotify is helping bring you closer to live music. Search “live events” in the app to find the Live Events hub, where you can explore local concerts personalized to your listening. Within the feed, the Concerts Near You playlist introduces you to artists performing nearby, with regular Wednesday updates and links to event details and tickets.

While those features help you discover shows, Reserved recognizes your existing fandom. It uses signals like streams, saves, and shares to identify an artist’s biggest fans and reward them with access to tickets held just for them. It’s our way of saying thank you, and bringing fans closer to the artists they love.
