Emma Chamberlain’s ‘Anything Goes’ Podcast Comes Exclusively to Spotify

Since 2017, Emma Chamberlain has filmed her highs, lows, and most vulnerable moments for all to see. In February 2020, the California native turned this candid conversation into a podcast she dubbed Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain. It quickly became a worldwide hit and a People’s Choice Award winner. And soon, it will be a Spotify exclusive. 

Spotify will be the exclusive home for the entire series (yes—that includes both the back catalog and future episodes) in a multiyear license agreement beginning next year. The influential Gen Z creator will also treat fans to new select video podcast episodes, exploring a fresh format for the podcast that takes Emma back to her vlogging roots as she features special guests and more.

“I’ve been listening to everything on Spotify since I was 14,” said Emma. “Spotify has played a huge role in developing my love and passion for podcasts and music, and I am consistently wowed by the way the platform continues to evolve. I couldn’t be more honored to be their exclusive partner, and work together to allow Anything Goes to blossom in ways it couldn’t have anywhere else.”

Recorded from the comfort of her bed, Anything Goes is a place for Emma to get vulnerable and talk at length about whatever is on her mind each week. Sometimes she tackles philosophy, sometimes a random story from 10 years ago, sometimes advice, and sometimes nothing quite definable at all.

From the Illuminati to Yale’s Skull and Bones, Explore the World of Underground Organizations in Parcast’s New Podcast, ‘Secret Societies’

Yale’s Skull and Bones, the Carbonari, the Black Hand, Illuminati—what do these organizations all have in common? They’re all some of the most-whispered-about underground clubs in the world and the subject of Parcast’s new original podcast, Secret Societies.

The series will bring listeners on a journey through hidden passageways into the mysterious realm of assassin sects, high society clubs, and powerful political cabals. The show explores each society—filled with conspiracies ranging from shadow figures to unknown rituals—in two episodes that expose the people and context responsible for the organization’s founding and analyze the psychology behind their beliefs.

“Secret societies are intriguing across cultures and aren’t specific to one region in the world—they exist everywhere and are unknown, mysterious entities that are universally intriguing,” says Max Cutler, founder and managing director of Parcast, a Spotify company.

While the societies may be secret, Parcast is letting the cat out of the bag. As a way to tap into that universal intrigue, the series is being launched simultaneously in the U.S., Brazil, and Mexico—a first in the podcast space.

“Brazil and Mexico are two of Spotify’s fastest-growing markets in terms of podcasting,” Cutler says. “We’re seeing phenomenal traction and encouraging growth in the overall podcast ecosystem there, so it was a natural fit for us to run this first global launch in the three countries.”

And listeners just can’t get enough. In fact, spooky podcast listening increased by 138.5% between October 2018 and October 2019. Topping the list? Last Podcast on the Left, And That’s Why We Drink, Morbid: A True Crime Podcast, The NoSleep Podcast, and Lore.
